Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Farmers Market Salesperson to represent The Herbal Alchemist at our weekly Oakland farmers market. As the face of our brand, you’ll engage with customers, share the benefits of our products, manage sales, and help create a welcoming, vibrant shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down market booth (tent, tables, signage, displays, products)
• Greet and engage with customers in a warm, knowledgeable, and professional manner
• Share detailed product knowledge and benefits to help customers find the right skincare solutions
• Handle point-of-sale transactions using a mobile device 
• Maintain a clean and visually appealing booth
• Restock and organize products throughout the day
• Collect and report customer feedback
• Represent the brand’s values with integrity and enthusiasm
• Complete inventory at the end of the day

Qualifications:

• Prior sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred 
• Passion for natural skincare, wellness, and plant-based living
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking to strangers
• Able to lift 30-45 lbs (booth materials/products)
• Reliable transportation to and from market locations
• Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot on-site
• Availability on weekends and occasional weekday markets
